life cycle of a german owl pigeon
The first stage of a German owl pigeon is the egg in twenty days of safe incubation they will hatch
The second stage is the chick in three weeks they will open their eyes and they may begin to cheep for food.
The third stage is the young bird they begin to feather out at five weeks but still have a bare spot on their chest they will begin to fly at six weeks and the parents may stop feeding them and they will start eating seed.
The last and final stage is the adult when they are fully independent .

Summer Fun!
What a fantastic summer we have had so far! We have hatched our very own chicks, and my pigeons are doing very well. I welcomed two new hatchlings (Dandelion and Nettle) and they are doing very well! Two more have grown to almost full size (Frida and Howard) and there are 4 eggs waiting to hatch!

Proud Moments.
Today we finally got to go to the Homeschool Science/Art/History Fair.
After the Science Fair, we stopped in to see our work at the Mendel Art Gallery. We were both chosen to be part of the School Art 2013 Exhibition.
